About xibbee

Xibbee is a project made up of illustrations and artworks created by Ivan Sciberras.

Ivan is a Maltese art director and illustrator with over 30 years experience in the industry and having worked in the design field both locally and abroad. Throughout the years he has worked on a variety of projects and campaigns for major local companies and institutions as well as commissioned illustrative and graphic work for foreign clients. He has also designed various album covers for both local and international musicians like Counting Crows, Drew Nugent and The Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Throughout his career Ivan has won a number of international design competitions such as the 2014 Creative Allies best designer of the year, an international Design website open to designers all over the world.

These last three years he was also commissioned to create the poster designs for the Malta Jazz Festival while subsequently his works were chosen to make part of the Malta Community of Illustrators’ Annual publication.

The works on display are a collection of illustrative and graphic artworks drawing inspiration from everyday life, Malta’s cultural heritage as well as lifelong influences and passions, particularly that for music

At xibbee, the aim is to deliver a comprehensive collection of posters and prints covering a wide choice of styles and themes. Ranging from abstract to comic and satirical, these artworks enrich spaces, capture the imagination and why not, instil a smile.

Every poster is printed on premium paper with fade-resistant inks to ensure an enduring uniqueness and vibrancy over the years.
